The Infant/Toddler Teacher plays a critical role in supporting the healthy development, safety, and early learning of our youngest children. You will help create warm, responsive environments while implementing high-quality programming aligned with CCG standards, Early Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC criteria, and all licensing regulations. This role requires a passion for nurturing relationships, strong teamwork, and a commitment to quality early childhood practices.
Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, including daily setup and support of learning centers.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum preparation and child assessments.
Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families, participating in meetings and conferences.
Collaborate with classroom teams, supporting daily routines and stepping in for the Lead Teacher when needed.
Maintain required documentation and acquire proficiency in CCG's designated data systems (training provided).
Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate's Degree in child development or a related field.
One year of experience working with young children.
Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and volunteers.
Reliable, punctual attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
